As the low-altitude economy booms, drones have been widely used in logistics, emergency rescue, urban inspection and other fields. However, safety hazards such as unauthorized drone flights and illegal intrusions are becoming increasingly prominent. To address this, Yaofeng Radar has made major phased breakthroughs in its "Multi-Radar Cooperative Detection Technology for Low-Altitude UAVs" project, building a wide-area cooperative network through scientific deployment at key nodes in Tianjin, Guangdong, Shandong, Hunan, Henan and other regions, realizing real-time information interconnection among radars.
Traditional single radars face challenges in low-altitude detection, including severe terrain occlusion, strong ground clutter and multipath effects, which affect positioning accuracy and track continuity. To solve these problems, the project innovatively adopts multi-radar cooperative detection technology, leveraging the spatial diversity of distributed nodes to achieve information sharing among radars. By deploying 9 key radar stations, the project constructs a cooperative perception network, expanding coverage, improving positioning accuracy and enhancing system robustness.
Optimal Station Deployment with Existing Tower Resources
Different from traditional ground-up construction, the project fully reuses high-quality site resources of China Tower. Taking Tianjin Public Security Driving Range Station and Shenzhen Houhai Bridge Base Station as examples, it utilizes the high-view advantage of existing facilities, greatly reducing construction costs and cycles, and achieving "instant network deployment upon installation".
Breaking the physical boundaries of geographical locations, the project connects key radar stations across regions via network collaboration, realizing a qualitative transformation from "point defense" to "networked coordination" and achieving full-range situational awareness of low-altitude targets.
Equipped with AI-based multi-feature fusion recognition algorithm, the system intelligently identifies target time-frequency, micro-motion and track information, effectively reducing false alarm rates. The adaptive radar network fusion algorithm adjusts node weights dynamically, improving tracking accuracy by more than 20% compared with single radar.
Upholding the core values of "Rigor, Integrity, Cooperation and Innovation" and the business philosophy of "Tech-driven Yaofeng, Quality-focused Yaofeng, Global-oriented Yaofeng", Yaofeng Radar is committed to building a sound industrial ecosystem. With the mission of "making homes safer and society more stable", we strive to be a respected industry leader, adhering to customer-centricity and long-termism to build a community with a shared future with our customers.
